Renowned actor Christian Oliver, aged 51, formerly known as Christian Klesper, and his two young daughters, Madita (12) and Annik (10), along with pilot Robert Sachs, lost their lives in a devastating plane crash in the Caribbean Sea. The Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force issued a statement confirming the tragic incident that occurred about a mile off the coast of Petit Nevis after midday.

The pilot, Robert Sachs, a local resident and plane owner, was also identified as an American by the U.S. State Department. Representatives for Oliver expressed their condolences, stating, "Our thoughts and prayers are with him, his two daughters, and his family."

The ill-fated plane, en route to St. Lucia, encountered difficulties shortly after takeoff, plunging into the ocean. Local fishermen and divers quickly responded to the crash, and the bodies were recovered by divers and transferred to the Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Coast Guard.

All four individuals on board were confirmed dead by a medical practitioner, pending post-mortem examinations to determine the causes of death. The investigation into the plane crash is ongoing, with the Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force leading the effort, and support from the Eastern Caribbean Civil Aviation Authority.
